  • Bree Wiseman posted a photo of her 4-year old pit bull with a caption saying “This is my dog. His favorite food is steak. He is eye level with my plate. He won’t get any closer because I told him no…”
  • Several people reacted positively about Bree’s analogy hoping that this post will become an eye opener to a woman’s worth and rights against sexual harassment.

One of the most adorable pictures that could go viral online is a picture of a dog doing silly things and what not to show their playful side. On the other hand, there is this one canine that became so popular in a very heart touching manner. Here’s why;

A Tennessee pastry chef named Bree Wiseman uploaded a photo of her 4-year-old pit bull sitting obediently next to his favorite viand and used it to make an impactful statement about rape victim-blaming, which is harshly common among humanity until now.

According to her post’s caption on her social media account, she called out to the people who say that women get raped due to the way they are clothed.

This is my dog. His favorite food is steak. He is eye level with my plate. He won’t get any closer because I told him no…

She said followed by another sermon:

If a dog is better behaved than you are, you need to reevaluate your life.

She ended the statement with her willingness to let people share her post, telling the online viewers how adorable her dog is.

The post is out and about. In fact, it is almost three years. It was November 2019 when it reached its 325th thousand share.

Bree Wiseman reaction to Huffman Post

Bree Wiseman is hoping that her uploaded photo will serve as a wonderful message to raise awareness against the horrendous rape culture and to promote stoppage of victim-blaming’s nature.

Bree Wiseman also said that it was the rapist’s decision to rape and not the other way around.

People shouldn’t have to be conscious about what they want to wear for fear of rape. She wants people to see that this is society’s problem and she wants to stand firm with this advocacy, together with the people who believe in her ideals to fight victim-shaming and silencing.

She told her reactors that if a 4-year-old pit bull can understand the meaning of ‘no’ even if he is looking at something that he badly desires to the point of drooling, then a full-minded adult should also understand ‘no’.

Appearances shouldn’t make any differences in sexual assault cases

She said, followed by:

How is it that simple-minded animal has the ability to understand better than a large part of the adult population?

Several people reacted positively and with approval about Bree Wiseman’s analogy of rape culture. As one of her reactors, Bonny BJ King-Taylor said that she is thankful to Bree for posting the said statement. She told Bree that she happened to use her post as an example to help an old lady that she admires understand the unreasonable nature of several ‘women cause rape’ opinions. Hopefully, the post helped the old lady for quite a lot. Random people say that Bree’s statement was spot on and that there are two types of people, the good and the ill-mannered.

There’s nothing wrong about conservative lifestyle, but consent deprivation is a different topic. Isn’t it?
